As a Clinical Services Manager, you will oversee the operational performance, financial management, and service delivery of multiple NHS community contracts.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing capacity planning, appointment scheduling, and clinic management.
2. Leading a team to achieve performance targets and service outcomes.
3. Monitoring referral rates, ensuring sufficient clinical staffing, and managing patient pathways.
4. Managing financial performance, including budget oversight, cost control, and revenue tracking.
5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS commissioners and local authorities.
6. Leading service teams, chairing meetings, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and healthcare regulations.
7. Driving performance improvements through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and operational reviews.
8. Ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including NHS and CQC standards.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Clinical Services Manager, Healthcare Services Manager, Patient Pathway Manager, Healthcare Operations Manager or in a similar role.
2. Possess relevant experience in healthcare.
3. Experience in pathway and waitlist management.
4. Background in managing healthcare services, preferably within ENT or Dermatology.
5. Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets and profit and loss management.
6. Understanding of NHS service standards and policies.
7. Hold a bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
8. Skilled in using healthcare systems and data analysis tools.
