Main duties of the job Main Duties of the job: School Nurse will lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (5-19 years) providing a best evidence based School Nursing provision to children, young people and their families that promotes and improves health and addresses health inequalities to a defined population, including health drop-ins at allocated secondary schools. Be the named school nurse for children and young people where there are safeguarding concerns and complex or outstanding health issues. School Nurse will provide strong clinical leadership and supervision to a skill mixed school nurse team, assuming responsibility for the appropriate allocation of work to ensure the effective management of a team workload.
