Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to join our team in Nottingham, United Kingdom. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and leading a talented culinary team.

12. Develop and update menus in line with current food trends and customer preferences
13. Manage food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets to optimise profitability
14. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
15. Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation
16. Implement and maintain food safety and quality control systems
17. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Qualifications
19. Proven experience managing a busy kitchen, with a track record of training and developing high-performing teams
20. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
21. Excellent culinary skills with a keen eye for delivering tasty and well-presented meals consistently
22. Minimum Food Safety Level 2 certification, with Level 3 or 4 preferred
23. Retail kitchen experience is essential
24. Demonstrated knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and budget planning
25. Proficiency in menu planning and development
26. Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
27. Strong organisational and time management skills
28. Ability to adapt to challenges and implement innovative solutions in a dynamic kitchen environment
29. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
30. Computer literacy, including proficiency in kitchen management software (desirable)
