Forest Lodge is a 22 bed Forensic low secure mental health inpatient ward for people aged 18 to 65 which is based in Oughtibridge, Sheffield.

We are seeking dynamic, motivated individuals with an interest in service development, quality improvement and a passion to ensure our service users receive high quality, compassionate care.
The individual will work in close collaboration with the Senior Nurse Practitioner and Matron to ensure that the clinical priorities and standards of care are achieved as we move through a period of transformation.
You will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of clinical leadership. You should be a confident, competent, and person-centered leader with a high level of knowledge and skills of inpatient care and of the standards and procedures that direct and influence this system.
Main duties of the job
* Provide effective leadership and management/Role model
* Develop team performance
* Manage the ward/department environment
* Deliver a safe and effective service within allocated resources ensuring the resources are used to maximum effect
* To ensure safe and effective practice/Professional, ethical and legal
* Act as a change agent, developing clinically effective practice through the effective utilisation and integration of evidence
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients/clients and visitors by ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and protocols including health and safety, healthcare associated infection, risk management and critical incident reporting
