In this role, you may travel up to 20% of the time, economic conditions considered.
What You Will Do
1. Execute against a prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business strategies.
2. Collaborate across IT teams (application development, infrastructure, and support) and KES business partners to implement business transformation projects, providing functional analysis, driving experiments, and contributing input to determine the best solutions.
3. Serve as the SME for KTS engineering processes and have a complete understanding of all other processes with the ability to provide support and training.
4. Communicate effectively to business partners, IT teams, and Leadership on status, risks, and roadblocks, aiding team members to overcome obstacles by working collaboratively.
5. Effectively capture business requirements and user stories, mapping business processes, and developing functional specifications.
6. Continuously seek to reduce reliance on homegrown applications and reduce overall development footprint while still addressing business process needs.
7. Coordinate and implement test plans and process changes through the organization as needed.
8. Develop knowledge of supported business processes and system configuration to support, optimize, and transform.
9. Stay current on technologies and best practices, ensuring that we are leveraging the best knowledge to achieve success.
10. Conduct research and analysis on 3rd Party products that may add value to the business.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Work experience in Engineering & Design Industry (Domain), Information Technology, or Business Operations.
2. Proven experience in systems analysis, proactively identifying opportunities and defining these as business requirements.
3. Experience working with software vendors to solve business needs.
4. Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
1. Bachelor’s Degree with Technology focus or Relevant work experience in a process technology or detailed engineering organization.
2. Experience with SQL, Python, and VBA languages.
3. Experience with analytics tools and concepts such as Data lakes and/or Power BI.
4. Experience working with global teams.
5. The ability to adapt to new problems and successfully operate within an experimentation environment.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
7. Strong economic thinking skills.
8. Self-motivation and the persistence to create value through work process transformation.
