Procurement & Office Coordinator (temporary, with potential to become permanent)
Location: Growers Garden, Cupar.
At Growers Garden, we’re entering an exciting new phase. As a small but ambitious business, we’ve been evolving to secure our future, and we’re looking for an energetic and proactive Procurement & Office Coordinator to be part of this journey.
This is a temporary position, but for the right person there is potential for it to become permanent as we continue to grow. If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, learn, and be part of a collaborative team, this could be a great fit.
About the Role
This role blends office coordination and procurement, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help keep our operations running smoothly, from managing supplier relationships and having a keen eye for costs and inventory, to ensuring the team is well-organised.
As a SME and small, close-knit team, every day is different and you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing procurement processes, ensuring we buy well and just in time
2. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
3. Handling customs import/export documentation and general inventory management
4. Providing administrative support across different departments
5. Assisting with planning, scheduling, and record-keeping
6. Supporting the team with day-to-day office operations
7. Supporting the sales admin function and administering social media channels
As a small team, we all pitch in where needed — this role offers exposure to many different aspects of the business and we are looking for team members who are not afraid to get stuck in and help out.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Is highly organised and thrives on bringing structure to a fast-moving environment
2. Has experience with procurement, supply chain, and/or inventory management
3. Is hands-on and proactive in keeping projects on track
4. Loves working as part of a team and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed
5. Is keen to learn and gain experience across multiple aspects of the business
6. Has an interest in social media, supporting the business on its growth journey
