This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support and guidance to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Mentor, you will support students who need additional help with their education, both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with students who may face learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or social barriers to education.
Learning Support Mentor Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students who need additional support.
* Develop personalised strategies to help students overcome academic and personal challenges.
* Support students’ emotional well-being, promoting confidence and resilience.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
* Competitive hourly pay of £12.83.

Learning Support Mentor Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Learning Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
· Experience supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs is desirable.
· A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with young people.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
· Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
