Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Southampton – Children Assessments Team Location: Southampton Rate: Up to £42 per hour Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for registered and experienced Qualified Adult’s Social Workers to join a busy Children Assessments Team based in Southampton. Responsibilities: Take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. Manage time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. Provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager. Actively participate in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews. Follow departmental health and safety procedures. Develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. Contribute to information management processes. Support social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained. Deliver targeted and specialist social work services for children and young people in need of support, protection, and care. Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and champion their rights and entitlements to improve their life chances and overall outcomes. Work collaboratively in partnership with parents/carers and promote a strength-based, relationship-focused model of approach. Maintain all necessary records and documentation in line with agreed procedures and best practice standards, including children’s electronic records and other computerised systems.
