Description
To support our Customers and Global Communities to mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high quality, cost effective HSEQ audits. Working with the supply chain of our core sectors: Utilities, Construction, Oil and Gas, you will audit to industry-specific protocols covering a combination of Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and CSR/Sustainability management systems. To be based in the Buckinghamshire region of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
AUDIT DELIVERY
1. Pre audit preparation to community requirements including planning pre audit arrangements with Customers
2. Be fully mobile, flexible with a willingness to travel
3. Deliver scheduled on-site audits to meet chargeability targets in line with Community requirements
4. Create detailed audit reports to the agreed quality requirements
5. Submit completed audit reports to meet agreed community/scheme SLA's
6. Time Management to ensure all elements of the process is delivered within SLA timescales
7. Manage costs associated with audit delivery, including travel and expenses
8. Promoting audit products and being an ambassador for the company
9. Attendance of team meetings where required.
QUALITY
1. Ensure all audits are carried out in line with relevant industry and scheme standards
2. Prepare detailed audit reports which are accurate, grammatically correct, and provide evidence and justification of findings
3. Contribute to the ongoing development of the various schemes, while ensuring that they conform to the framework of corporate standards and procedures
4. Undergo annual witnessed audits as part of the AAS quality management procedures.
5. Provide constructive feedback to ensure the on-going development of the schemes
6. Maintain and develop own technical competencies, skills, and knowledge of scheme rules for audit activities.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
1. Liaise with customers and/or other interested parties to provide guidance on the content of the scheme
2. Ensure customers are contacted prior to the audit in line with company requirements, audit arrangements and preparedness
3. Be an ambassador for Achilles and the Community while interacting with customers
4. Provide added value to customers through insights
5. Ensure verification of Supply Chain information on behalf of the buying communities to enable a risk based approach to procurement decisions
6. Promote and deliver continual improvement throughout the supply chain by the identification of conformance, non-conformances and deviations from industry standards.
Qualifications
1. Full driving licence
2. A Health and Safety professional qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
3. Lead Auditor via examination (IRCA or equivalent).
