Prevent unauthorised access, monitor alarms and CCTV, conduct security patrols, manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as per client requirements Provide traffic control, enforce parking restrictions and conduct routine tests of security equipment and ensure proper management of all equipment provided Issue visitor and contractor passes, maintain logbooks and records and handle lost property Provide support to staff, visitors and contractors; ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, report hazards and accidents and keep emergency escape routes clear Notify the Securitas Operations Centre in emergencies, investigate fire alarm activations and report any use of First Aid equipment Report any risks of property loss, damage or vandalism; ensure all unnecessary lights are switched off and windows are closed during patrols to prevent waste Operate security equipment, enforce 'stop and search' policies and conduct initial investigations on suspicious activities, objects and vehicles, providing detailed reports Deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a professional appearance, handle inquiries professionally, complete all paperwork promptly and undertake additional duties as requested by management A full UK driving licence and own transport RTW and 5yr checkable history No current criminal convictions Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus Be able to work independently as well as part of a team Be punctual and reliable Be willing and able to work shifts covering days, nights and weekends and be available as and when called upon to cover shifts, occasionally at short notice Be sensitive towards and show an understanding of the requirements of people with disabilities or special needs Must be eligible to hold SC security clearance Prior experience as a Security Officer in the Security industry is desirable A First Aid qualification would be advantageous
