Graduate Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Levenshulme
Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Levenshulme. This is a full-time role starting in October and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract based on performance.

* Pay: £419.25 - £500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting students’ academic progress across various subjects. Working closely with class teachers and support staff, your main responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help with their learning
* Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that students of all abilities can participate and succeed
* Supporting students with their literacy, numeracy, or subject-specific skills to improve overall achievement
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting in the implementation of intervention strategies for students who require extra support, either academically or socially
* Tracking student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers to inform lesson planning and student support strategies
* Supporting students during exams and assessments by offering revision assistance and exam techniques
* Contributing to the pastoral care and emotional well-being of students, helping to create a nurturing and supportive school environment
* Assisting with any additional duties required by the school, including working with students who have special educational needs or behavioural challenges
What We’re Looking For:
* A recent graduate with a degree in any subject area
* A passion for education and a strong interest in supporting young people’s academic and personal development
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with students of all abilities
* A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a school or educational setting, is desirable but not essential
* A desire to pursue a career in education or teaching is advantageous
