IT Delivery Manager Job Description The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the successful delivery of technology projects. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards of the organization. The IT Delivery Manager will work directly and regularly with the sponsors/owners and technical teams, as well as other project stakeholders and 3rd Parties ensuring projects are effectively resourced. They will manage relationships with various groups (including all project contributors). This position offers a fantastic opportunity to build a career in project management and gain hands-on experience in a fast paced and collaborative environment. - Lead end-to-end project delivery for IT initiatives and projects across the entire division, from planning and scoping to implementation and post-deployment support. - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. - Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders. - Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution. - Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. - Proven ability to solve problems creatively. - Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. - Excellent analytical skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. - Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. - Demonstrated understanding of IT operations and user experience. - Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
