Job summary The Senior Wellbeing Practitioner will have scope to develop the wellbeing pathway within Epsom CMHRS and help in the management and supervision ofWellbeing Practitioners to help support this. The role will enhance the care of clients within the designated service by providing low intensity psychological interventions and delivering psycho-educational groups under the supervision of a qualified clinician /psychologist working within the service, and by working independently according to a plan agreed with the Team Leader and/or the supervising Psychologist. The role will work as a fully integrated member of the multidisciplinary team. The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role. Main duties of the job o To take responsibility for assessing people who use the service and coordinate their care.o To assist in the management and supervision of the junior low intensity/PWP workers and other staff involved in the wellbeing pathway.o To manage an enhanced case load and be on the rapid response rota where necessary.o To take responsibility for planning and facilitating group work and individual activities, on-going continuous assessment and adjustment of clinical interventions based on the fluctuating needs of the people using the service.o To provide a range of activities, instructing and guiding people who use the service to support them in achieving identified goals within their care plan under supervision.
