Van Driver
Working any 5 days out of 7
Day Shifts: 05:00 - 08:00 start times
Night Shifts: 22:00 - 02:00 start times
People Solutions are recruiting van delivery drivers on behalf of our well-established retail client based in South Elmsall, Pontefract.
Rates of Pay:
* Days: £12.21 per hour
* Overtime after 45 hours £18.32 per hour
* Nights: £14.65 per hour
* Overtime after 45 hours £21.98 per hour
* Bank holidays £24.42 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
Day to day duties as a Van Driver:
* Making high volume multi drop deliveries
* Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
* Load your own vehicle at start of shift
* Store deliveries and collections
* Complete vehicle checks
* Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills:
* Must have a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
* A minimum of twelve months' experience of van delivery driving
* Need to be able to communicate effectively
* No more than six points for MINOR offences
* Great work ethic
Desirable Experience:
* Multi drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential
Training
* Candidates must pass a driving assessment to be successful for this role
