We have an exciting job opportunity for a part-time, People Business Partner to join Kone. 3 days a week (22 hours), hybrid working.
Within the business, this position will be known as People & Communications Business Partner.
Purpose
The P&C Business Partner will partner with the Doors Director and relevant Leaders to deliver high-quality strategic partnering to stakeholders. The BP will coach stakeholders to lift and develop capability. The BP will be responsible for supporting the IR/ER strategy and provide strong IR/ER strategic advice. The role will support the achievement of business objectives and contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the business. The P&C BP will support EVP and assist in driving employee engagement, attraction, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
With the support from the Doors Director, you will support and drive business objectives and the people agenda to deliver timely and high-quality outcomes.
* Capability Coaching and Development – Provide coaching and leadership to stakeholders to elevate capability, support employee development and succession planning, and upskill stakeholders through providing strong partnering, advice, and training.
* IR/ER – Coach and support managers in Industry relations (IR) matters in a highly unionized environment, such as Employer/Enterprise bargaining agreement (EA) negotiations, performance management and investigations, interpretation of legislation, policies and procedures, and relevant EA as well as day-to-day matters. Support and enable strategy setting with relevant stakeholders.
* Culture – Facilitate the delivery of culture and engagement processes and programs that lift people capability and drive values.
* Talent Management – Support and enable EVP, talent recruitment and retention, and support initiatives to retain relevant employees.
* Performance and Reward – Support and enable the Performance and reward service delivery.
* Organizational Development and Workforce Planning – Support organization design, advise on best practice and support workforce planning initiatives.
* Analyst – Report on people metrics, providing the business with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* HR Administration – Responsible for delivering agreed local operations for Doors business. These activities include, but are not limited to:
* Advising line managers and employees in correct usage of HR operating model.
* Ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding process in alignment with global process.
* Local benefits administration and related communications.
* Employment, time and attendance, and payroll-related preparations: collecting information, preparation and coordination of locally required documents.
Support in organizational data management activities, for example in data upload preparations.
Performance Measures
* Support and drive business objectives in a timely manner.
* Timely completion of agreed projects and initiatives.
* Achievement of HR/IR Agenda and KPIs.
* Global policies and processes implemented.
Key Skills
* Proven experience in HR Business Partnering.
* People advocacy, and the ability to build strong relationships.
* Strategic mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities.
* CIPD qualified, level 5 and above.
* Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday).
