Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Panel / MET Technician to join our relaxed and well-equipped bodyshop in Wednesbury. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality repairs and prefers a stress-free working environment without high-pressure targets.
The successful candidate will carry out a mix of panel repairs, mechanical & electrical strip and refit (MET), dent removal, welding, and vehicle realignment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Repair and replace damaged body panels, quarter panels, and structural components
2. Carry out dent pulling, welding, jig work, and filler application
3. Perform mechanical and electrical strip and refit (MET) of vehicle components
4. Use specialist equipment to realign chassis and perform precise bodywork repairs
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following health & safety guidelines
6. Work independently or as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results
Requirements:
1. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair or MET, or time-served experience
2. Strong experience in panel repair, welding, dent removal, and mechanical strip & refit (MET)
3. Ability to work independently without strict time pressures
4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
5. Own tools required
6. Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
