Agrii is a leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice. The Logistics and Supply Chain team includes over 200 employees working across 35 depots covering the whole of the UK.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and professional Class 2 Driver at our Hixon site to provide a first class delivery service to our customers.
The Applicant must hold valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph cards as well as a Forklift licence. An ADR licence is also preferred.
This role will involve picking orders and considerable daily manual handling.
The candidate should have a good geographical knowledge of the delivery area and close attention to detail is a must.
This is a full-time and permanent role with 40 hours of work per week, with additional overtime as required by the business.

Responsibilities
* Safely operate a flatbed lorry for the delivery of goods to designated locations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that occur during transit.
* Follow all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving.
* Valid driver's licence with appropriate endorsements for operating flatbed lorries.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
* Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items as required during loading and unloading processes.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
