We are a leading provider of broadcast, TV, and film equipment and solutions. We are currently seeking a Sales Team Leader to inspire and lead our dynamic Sales team.
Team Overview
The Digi Sales team supports our global clients by offering comprehensive solutions tailored to their needs. The team primarily focuses on managing inbound leads, meeting KPIs, and leveraging a well-established client database.
Role Summary
To thrive in this role, you must lead by example, display a strong work ethic, and be both solution-oriented and adaptable. You should also bring a structured approach to sales while managing your own portfolio of clients.
Role Purpose
Your primary responsibility will be to guide the sales team in translating the company's goals into effective sales strategies, ensuring target revenues are met. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Directors and other department heads, driving continuous improvement and goal-oriented initiatives.
Tasks
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the sales team.
* Set individual and team targets to drive revenue and margin growth.
* Develop a rolling 12-month sales strategy.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts in collaboration with the Finance Team.
* Provide ongoing coaching to the team to enhance performance and address areas of improvement.
* Work cross-functionally to maximize sales effectiveness.
* Promote personal development through coaching and product knowledge.
* Represent the sales team in key meetings, sharing performance insights and opportunities.
* Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements.
* Lead recruitment efforts to strengthen the sales team.
* Ensure a customer-centric approach throughout the sales process.
* Facilitate client meetings and attend industry exhibitions globally.
Requirements
* Proven experience in leading and managing a successful sales team.
* Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets.
* Ability to coach and motivate others to embrace new strategies.
* Strong leadership presence with excellent communication skills.
* Experience with KPIs, CRM systems, and data analysis.
* Capability to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
* Background in TV equipment sales or media industry is a plus.
* B2B sales experience is preferred.
* Media-related education is advantageous but not mandatory.
