Key Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will lead the charge in building and nurturing relationships with global clients, working closely with the business development team to create new opportunities. You’ll receive a thorough induction and training program, ensuring you can quickly build relationships with internal teams, understand the company's processes, and confidently articulate what sets our client apart from the competition.
Your primary focus will be on generating new business, fostering strong, long-term client relationships, and driving growth within the Pharma and MedTech industries.
What They’re Looking For
They’re seeking a candidate with over five years of business development experience, ideally within the medical device industry. Previous experience with Pharma or MedTech companies, CMO/CDMO firms, or medical device design consultancies is preferred. However, we’re also open to professionals from design or engineering backgrounds with strong sector knowledge and commercial acumen who are looking for a new challenge.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. A degree (or equivalent) in Medical Devices, Engineering, Design, or Business & Marketing.
2. Senior leadership experience in technical consulting, R&D, medical devices, or healthcare.
3. Knowledge of ISO:13485 and ISO:14971 regulatory standards.
4. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a willingness to represent the company at industry conferences and events.
5. Proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales and marketing teams.
6. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
7. A full driving license is required.
