This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects, with clients such as National Grid across the country. As a Document Controller within our Strategic Infrastructure Onshore directorate focusing on asset improvements within the ASTI (Accelerated Strategic Transmission Infrastructure) portfolio, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of project data and documentation within a common data environment. As part of the Strategic Infrastructure Onshore PMO Information Management team you will uphold rigorous document management standards, facilitating efficient project execution and compliance with industry and company information standards and protocols. Your responsibilities will include managing the Master Information Delivery Plan and approvals process within the common data environment, ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of project files and data on SharePoint and ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud). You will ensure continuous control over highly confidential and sensitive information, including legal privilege, GDPR compliance, and price-sensitive data, in alignment with company procedures while addressing information accessibility to meet Freedom of Information requests. You will have familiarity or experience with ISO 19650-2 while working within a common data environment using BIM is desirable. You will have knowledge of engineering and construction disciplines or experience working across project delivery environments and you will have strong IT literacy with proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS365 applications such as Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio. Your ability to learn new systems, your communications skills and flexible approach to work will be important to your success in this role.
