We are looking for a Behaviour Support Specialist Teaching Assistant to play a key role in helping students with challenging behaviours engage more effectively in their learning. In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff, providing one-on-one support, implementing behaviour management strategies, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities:
* Support students with individual behaviour plans.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
* Provide tailored support to help students stay engaged and achieve academically.
* Monitor and track students’ progress and well-being.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience working in a school or support role, particularly with students with special educational needs.
* Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to working with children.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
