Our clients nursery are a dedicated and passionate nursery offering childcare to children between the ages of 0 and 5. Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background; in particular, challenging situations where racism or discrimination is displayed, and creating a nurturing environment for all children. THE ROLE: The planning and preparation of activities, to meet children's individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Working as part of a team. The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs. Keeping of development records and observations. Positive management of children's behaviour. Preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the playrooms and equipment. Requirements To be passionate Understanding the importance of caring for children To be committed to the role as well as the coursework SKILLS DEVELOPED WITHIN THE ROLE: Providing a good role model for Students and help new staff to fit into the nursery. Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of CMDN and compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, EYFS and Montessori Method of teaching and within the guidelines of Ofsted. Giving feedback and holding meetings with Parents, for a working partnership with Parents. Apprenticeship eligibility requirements: To not already hold an Early Years qualification at level 3 or above To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
