Our brand new, state of the art central production unit caters for some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here supports our locations with homemade grab & go options along with various other offerings from cooked lunches to event catering. This is a full-time operation and runs from Sunday to Thursday.
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is led by excellent customer satisfaction and transporting items safely and on time. The Delivery Driver will collect and deliver items while following previously planned routes and schedules. You should be willing to work as part of a team to ensure that items are packed correctly and delivered to the appropriate client.
To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load, transport, and deliver items to clients.
* Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete.
* Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
* Ensure the vehicle has enough fuel and is ready for use.
* Arrange vehicle repairs when necessary.
* Update monthly mileage records.
* Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and respond to queries.
* Follow previously planned routes and schedules.
* Follow all transportation laws.
Personal Specification:
* Valid and clean UK driver’s license
* Willingness to follow assigned routes, schedules, and transportation law
* Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
* Willingness to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
* Ability to use GPS devices
