The role is also accountable for the smooth functioning of the daily cashless settlement process and will have responsibility for defining and standardising Treasury processes to drive continuous improvements. In this role you will Manage the Group’s global cash position to ensure the optimum use of cash on a daily basis, to maximise cash at centre. This includes: Managing the funding and maintenance to a minimum balance for GSK's main operational FX currencies. Co-ordinating the submission of accurate and timely forecasting of payments from the Finance Hubs and Payment team including the development and maintenance of appropriate forecasting tools like templates, memo records, etc. Ensuring the ongoing integrity of the global centralised sweeping bank account set-up, SWIFT and the optimum bank account structure (best practices as standard). This includes undertaking & supporting projects to improve the cash management process. Accountable for delivery of the KPIs representing the net savings by optimal operation of swap process. Responsible for delivery of monthly cash report of ViiV. Accountable for ensuring work is appropriately allocated and resourced to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all cash management activities and tasks. This will include running team meetings and setting performance metrics that can report and track all activities and issues for review by the Director of Cash & Operations. Accountable for managing the daily settlement process including supervising the offshore team that supports the automated daily settlement process. Why you? Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Professional Accountancy Qualification or experience within a similar Treasury corporate role Experience in Cash Management, ERP, Treasury Management Systems Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply: Professional Accountancy Qualification, MACT or equivalent financial based qualification Substantial experience in Cash Management, ERP, Treasury Management Systems Communication and influencing internal and external stakeholders to drive and implement cash management and forecasting disciplines. Leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams and drive their performance. Experience in management of small teams. Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as good teamwork and communication skills.
