Role Overview We have an exciting opportunity for an AWS Cloud Architect to join our growing Cloud Engineering practice. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing and delivering elegant solutions built upon the AWS cloud platform. With a proven technical background in the implementation of AWS cloud solutions, you will be a passionate advocate of innovation and using new technology to solve business problems. You will engage in the full project lifecycle from presales through to operational handover and be accountable for the technical delivery of projects. Responsibilities Translating business requirements into solution architectures on the AWS cloud platform Provide technical leadership and mentoring for implementation teams, defining standards and practices Responsible for the technical readiness, scalability, & quality assurance of final deliverables Staying current with the latest innovations with the AWS cloud platform About you Proven experience in the secure design of AWS environments including: Account and Environment separation Integration of native and external security tooling Integration of IDP(s) Attack surface reduction Demonstrable experience of solution design following the AWS ‘Well Architected Framework’ Ability to produce comprehensive architecture diagrams Experience in cost and ROI analysis of solutions Ability to integrate risk and other business context within designs Experience of developing and designing solutions using .NET/.NET Core or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous : Consulting or client facing experience Business analysis experience Awareness of project management principles and methodologies Secure design of IAC solutions using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
