JMS Group employ 50staff undertaking civil & structural engineering designsand has been serving the Construction Industry for over 25years.
We have an opening for a GraduateStructural Engineer to join our team at our Midlands office toundertake designs on a variety of projects from small domesticextensions to large multistorey apartment and office developments.Working alongside colleagues within the local office as well asthose in other parts of the Group you will be encouraged to developyour design experience and skills and be supported to obtainaccreditation to the Institute of Structural Engineers.
With project costs up to 12m and the use of the latestdesign software the role offers an exciting opportunity to engagein impactful highvalue projects. A competitive salary will beoffered commensurate with the importance of this role within ourcompany.

Responsibilities
* Use the latest design software to create andmanage designs.
* Liaise with key clients anddiscuss design/technical solutions with team members andstakeholders.
* Ensure projects are appropriatelyresourced delegating work to team members programming deliverablesand monitoring progress.
Qualifications:
We are looking for an ambitious selfmotivated and drivenGraduate Structural Engineer able to meet the followingcriteria:
* Degree qualified inStructural Engineering or relateddiscipline
* Understanding of the use of designtools within a BIM environment
* Use of industrydesign standards i.e. DMRB; Manual for Streets; NJUG SSGetc.
* Problem solver able to offer solutions tochallenges
* Able to work and collaborate as partof a multidisciplinary team
* Confidentarticulate collaborative &proactive
* Eagerness to learn and to developyour skills and career with trainingsupport
* Good time management and organisationalskills to efficiently manage workload.
* A goodknowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standardsand EU regulations.
* Excellent spoken andwritten English.
* Full UK driving licence and awillingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other JMSoffices.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UKand be able to demonstrate proof whenrequested.
