Job summary The Band 6 nurse is a member of a Community Learning Disability Team for adults and is responsible for an allocated caseload and contributing towards the development of clinical practice within the team. The Band 6 nurse will also facilitate the development of student nurses and junior members of the team. To provide up to date, high quality evidence based specialist nursing interventions for people with learning disabilities and ensure the client and carer are fully involved in the process. Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Nurse within Blaenau Gwent Learning Disabilities Team. The ethos of the team is to provide specialist healthcare for people with a Learning Disability in a multi disciplinary way.
