Private Client Locum (Wills & Probate)
* Hourly Rate: Circa £30-£50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
* Location: Horley, Surrey
* Job Type: Part Time Temporary Locum Support (2-3 days aweek) - Ongoing
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Locum to join a team in Horley, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wills & Probate, providing expert legal advice and support to our clients. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work with a reputable, friendly local firm.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Drafting Wills:Prepare and draft wills tailored to clients' individual needs and circumstances.
* Probate Administration:Manage the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration.
* Client Consultations:Conduct client consultations to understand their needs and provide appropriate legal advice.
* Legal Documentation:Prepare and review legal documents related to wills, probate, and estate planning.
* Compliance:Ensure all work complies with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualifications:Qualified solicitor or legal executive with fee-earning experience in Wills & Probate.
* Experience:Proven track record in private client work, particularly in wills, probate, and estate planning.
* Skills:Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills.
* Knowledge:Strong understanding of inheritance tax, trusts, and estate administration.
* Flexibility:Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
* Availability:Immediate availability for a temporary/contract role.
