Easter Ross Vets in Invergordon is seeking a small animal veterinary surgeon to join our team on a permanent basis. We are a first opinion practice where we encourage working up our own medical/surgical cases with access to in-house blood machines, ultrasound and radiography, whilst having good referral practices on our doorstep. We are highly supportive of vets wishing to obtain certificates, offering full funding for continued education. We also support specialisations in areas of surgery and/or medicine. Our practice covers three branches, with Invergordon as the main hub and additional locations in Tain and Alness.
Flexibility that fits your lifestyle
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. The ideal candidate would work up to 40 hours per week over 4 to 4.5 days, Monday to Friday, with occasional, shifted, out of hours duties and a 1:4 Saturday morning rotation included within your 40-hour week. However, we are open to part-time applicants and job shares and can be flexible for the right candidate.
Find a place to excel
Easter Ross Vets is located just north of Inverness, nestled in a beautiful highland setting with a rich Pictish history. The area offers fantastic access to outdoor activities such as hillwalking, water sports, dolphin watching, and visits to Dunrobin Castle. It's a wonderful community surrounded by stunning countryside, only an hour from Inverness Airport and 25 minutes from the city of Inverness.
We operate two branches: Invergordon and Tain, with Invergordon serving as our main hub. Our team consists of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant. Many of our team members have their own areas of interest, whether species-specific or related to medicine and surgery. We foster a supportive environment where team members look out for each other and are readily available to assist one another. We actively support and participate in local agricultural shows and dog shows, taking time out to attend these community events.
