We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a well-established independent banking and financial services group.
The Test Analyst is responsible for delivering and managing test deliverables within the organization. The role will be responsible for ensuring we design, develop and administer a series of test evaluations that identify any potential issues with products/systems before its general release.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Test Artifacts – Responsible for the production and upkeep of key test artifacts:
* Test Strategy/Approach
* Test Cases
* Test Summary Report
Test Tasks – Responsible for:
* Business requirements validation, ensuring requirements are concise and testable.
* Design validation, help ensure that the design meets the requirements and that we have an understanding of how a specific design can be tested.
* Assist in the continued improvement of the testing framework.
* Managing the schedule and sequencing of testing.
* Providing test progress updates to the project team.
* Collaborating with the Change Team and external parties on better ways of working.
* Providing testing estimates
Principle Accountabilities
* To take ownership of the key test tasks and artefacts.
Working Relationships
* Maintain productive relationships within the Change Team, IT and all Business teams across entities.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
* Ideally Professional Qualifications in Testing
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Test Analyst within the Banking or Insurance and Investments world.
* Experience in working on large projects/programmes.
* Experience in delivering all test artifacts listed above
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in using testing tools
* An understanding of the different project methodologies
* Beneficial – An understanding of how to navigate and write basic SQL scripts
* Beneficial – An understanding of automated test tools.
