Job summary We're excited to offer 37.5 hours Band 6 physiotherapist at Norman Power Centre managed by UHB Community Service. Our therapy team works across multiple locations providing vital services to individuals who need further assessment and rehabilitation after being placed in discharge-to-assess bed. We focus on patients with complex discharge planning needs following hospital admissions. This role also involves providing therapy services in patients' homes and working closely with community services. We are committed to fostering a positive culture that supports professional and career growth. This role would suits a motivated and enthusiastic physio who enjoys rehabilitating people with frailty. To make the transition from acute care to the community as smooth as possible, ensuring timely discharges and efficient flow. To liaise with various agencies to ensure safe, effective and efficient discharges. To provide Physiotherapy services in the patient's own home or residence. To contribute to seven-day working programmes across the organisation and on-call service as required. To be able to manage your caseload and work independently. To supervise students on placements. To appraise, supervise and support junior staff and therapy assistants.
