We are recruiting on behalf of a pioneering company seeking a Process Operator to join their pilot plant operations in Teesside. This is a full-time fixed-term position (initially 6 months), starting on day shifts, with the possibility of a permanent opportunity. It offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable metals recovery using cutting-edge polymer-based extraction technology. This role provides a unique chance to contribute to the development of environmentally transformative processes, working in a hands-on capacity within a collaborative and safety-focused team. Process Operator key responsibilities: Operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment Handling hazardous materials safely and effectively Conducting routine maintenance and supporting troubleshooting activities Monitoring and recording process parameters Supporting the development of risk assessments and standard operating procedures Requirements to be a Process Operator: Experience in the chemical industry Exposure to batch processing, mixing, filtration, and hazardous substances Comfortable working hands-on and independently where appropriate Willingness to learn and undertake training Forklift experience desirable Proven safety awareness in chemical operations (qualifications desirable) If this opportunity interests you, please get in touch to find out more
