Job Title: Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our dynamic team. As an SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN in both mainstream and specialized classrooms.
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies.
* Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
* Promoting independence and self-confidence among students with SEN through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
* Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and relevant stakeholders.
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities is highly desirable.
* A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in various educational settings.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special education, such as CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, would be advantageous but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one
* Must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 6 months
