About the Role
An established IT services company specializing in the Maritime, Defence, and Government sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team, with a focus on maritime projects.
In this role, you will manage and oversee maritime implementation projects for the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, and other UK MOD/UK Government vessels, ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Strong work ethic and self-motivation to independently tackle challenges and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize effectively to meet targets and deliver results.
Must be eligible or currently hold DV security clearance.
Proven project management experience with the UK MOD and other government departments.
Previous involvement in UK MOD maritime electrical installation projects.
Technical knowledge of electrical, IT networking systems, and satellite communications.
Experience in creating high-quality Equipment Guidance Packages (EGPs), Installation Guidance Packages (IGPs), and modification leaflets.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to consistently produce work that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Willingness to travel and adapt to the requirements of the role.
