Gas/Heating Service Manager
Basic Salary: £45k+ (negotiable depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare + Pension + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to join a well-established Plumbing and Heating organisation based in the Swindon / Oxfordshire area on a permanent and fully employed basis.
Our client provides a complete range of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating services including gas/boiler work, heat pump and renewable work, oil and so on.
Job Summary:
1. Acting as a Head of Department / Service Manager.
2. Managing and leading a team of gas/heating engineers.
3. Managing all Gas Safe, OFTEC and Heat Pump/Renewable works.
4. Scheduling and coordinating engineers and diary workloads.
5. Carrying out surveys and estimating of works.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing training and development opportunities for staff.
8. Leading on promoting and developing the Plumbing and Heating Division.
9. Monitoring inventory levels and ordering necessary supplies and equipment.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or OFTEC Engineer.
2. Demonstrated leadership and previous management experience, ideally with similar experience as a Service Manager or Head of Department within the Plumbing and Heating industry.
3. Good IT and Computer skills.
