SF Recruitment are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a growing business in Burton on an initial temporary to permanent basis. Expected to go permanent following a successful 3 month temporary period.
This role is office based, with working hours of 37.5 per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times, paying up to £35,000pa. DOE.
Our client is currently in the middle of a huge project of system implementations, so applications from candidates who have experience of integration is most encouraged.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with processing the company payroll to include:
2. Processing weekly timesheets for approximately 300 employees
3. Calculating holiday and sick pay
4. Processing all statutory payments
5. Assisting with weekly payroll reports
6. Maintaining personnel records and assisting with HR administration
7. At month end, assisting with any ad hoc invoice processing
8. Supporting with system implementation
The ideal candidate for this position will come from a solid payroll processing background and will be able to hit the ground running.
This role is due to start asap, so you must be available immediately to start or with 1 week's notice. An approachable nature and hardworking attitude is required.
