If so, Signature Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Reception Officer to join our client, a prestigious university in London. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in January for six weeks. The role is fully office-based.
As a Reception Officer, you will be the first point of contact greeting students, staff and visitors in a welcoming yet efficient manner. You will also field general enquiries in person, or via telephone or email. In addition to reception duties, you will provide general administrative support to the Programmes Teams.
Reception Officer Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as the first point of contact and first impression of the faculty and greeting students, staff and visitors in a professional yet friendly manner. To include acting as a helpful point of information at the Reception Desk and signposting and escalating when necessary.
* Providing administrative support for the orientation of students and supporting events and other programme and extracurricular events throughout the academic year.
* Assisting with the production of study materials to include reading lists, case studies, student newsletters and other communications.
* Supporting programmes and courses to ensure the smooth running of the Programmes Team.
* Organising tasks to facilitate meetings and events, including room bookings and catering.
* Any other administrative duties in order to assist the team and wider university.
Reception Officer Key Skills:
* Experience working in a Reception / Administrative role with exceptional customer service experience.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Good organisation with the ability to balance a busy workload and maintain attention to detail.
* Highly proficient IT skills – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams.
