The role holder will play a safe and active part in maintenance activities, being responsible for rectifying all electrical malfunctions and breakdowns safely and effectively to enable the continuity and productivity of the plant, achieving current safety, output, and quality targets.
Responsibilities include:
1. Performing all aspects of Maintenance Fitting to a good standard.
2. Providing solutions for practical problems; exact day-to-day duties will vary depending on the task.
3. Fault finding on pneumatics, hydraulics, and machines out of sequence to reduce downtime.
4. General welding and fabrication, including lathe, turning, and milling.
5. Developing personal engineering skills.
6. Providing maintenance solutions to enhance the improvement of plant efficiencies.
7. General machining is an advantage, including Centre Lathe work and Milling Machine work.
Requirements:
The job requires adequate mechanical qualifications and a minimum of three years' experience.
City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HND.
