The Role: Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. Reporting directly to our Managing Director, the successful candidate will develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and identify new market opportunities. This role offers significant career development within our forward-thinking and rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute sales strategies to maximise revenue for our distillery.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients, including bars, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers.
3. Market Expansion: Identify and seize new market opportunities locally and internationally.
4. Brand Representation: Represent our company at industry events, tastings, and exhibitions.
5. Team Leadership: Lead our sales team, including brand ambassadors and agency staff.
6. Reporting and Feedback: Provide regular sales performance reports to the Managing Director, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven sales experience in the food, beverage, spirits, or hospitality industry.
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of the spirits market, including consumer trends and industry dynamics.
4. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales and customer service.
5. Full driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
