The ideal candidate will lead the management and reporting of our group social impact data, utilising our social value reporting tool. The key purpose of the role is to ensure that accurate and timely summary data can be produced showcasing Social Impact activities at Group and Divisional level to support business needs. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership & lead the Social Impact reporting tool requirements and provide regular Social Impact reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Coordinating with various departments across the organisation to communicate Social Impact reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission for regular reports. Preparing comprehensive Social Impact reports to effectively communicate the organisation's performance to both internal and external stakeholders, including Directors, work winning teams, customers, and the public. Produce ad-hoc information and support as directed by the Head of Social Impact. Utilise company systems to produce supply chain spend & local employment reports to support impact reporting. Identify, plan and conduct checks and audits to verify that the system and work processes are being properly performed, that the processes are delivering their intended outputs, and that evidence to demonstrate this is retained. Support the Social Impact team to ensure the processes needed for the tool are properly implemented and maintained. Assist the wider team where any client reporting issues are identified as directed by the Head of Social Impact Stay updated on relevant social impact guidance and ensuring the organisation's reporting adheres to industry best practices. Continuously seek ways to enhance the business's Social Impact reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement, change, and innovation. Ensure non-conformances in processes are identified and resolved ensuring corrective and preventative actions are properly defined and implemented. Provide training and coaching to both new and existing users. Regularly review the results with the Social Impact team as appropriate to identify areas for improvement and define related actions, and then follow up their implementation. Organise and lead internal Social Impact reporting Working Group meetings. Promote awareness of social value requirements throughout the organisation. Ensure the integrity of the Impact Reporting system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.
