We are seeking a skilled, committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years and/or Key Stage 1 team/s. We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. The contracted hours are 8:50am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 50-minute lunch break; additional hours may be available according to the needs of the school. The successful applicant is likely to be working across Reception and Year 1, but a final decision will be made based on their skills and experience. You will: have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and development of pupils promote pupil independence and positive behaviours for learning through a ‘least help first’ approach have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including in English and mathematics, and a full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years Practitioner qualification (or be committed to working towards one of these - an apprenticeship pathway may be available).
