Job Title: Technical Pre-Sales & Support Engineer – CCTV & VMS Solutions\n Reports To: Technical Manager / Sales Director\n Employment Type: Full-Time\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nWe are looking for a technically adept and customer-oriented Technical Pre-Sales & Support Engineer to join our growing team. This hybrid role supports both the pre-sales process and technical support for our industry-leading CCTV hardware and integrated Video Management System (VMS) software solutions.\n\nYou will work closely with the sales, product, and support teams to design effective surveillance solutions, deliver product demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and provide first- and second-line support to customers and partners.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPre-Sales Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborate with the sales team to gather client requirements and propose tailored CCTV and VMS solutions.\n\nPrepare system designs including camera placement, storage calculations, and network architecture.\n\nDeliver compelling product demos, technical presentations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for customers and partners.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and solution proposals.\n\nAssist in responding to tenders, RFPs, and RFQs with accurate and timely technical input.\n\nStay up to date with the latest developments in surveillance technology, VMS features, and market trends.\n\nTechnical Support Responsibilities:\n\nProvide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to customers, system integrators, and resellers via phone, email, and remote tools.\n\nTroubleshoot hardware and software issues related to CCTV cameras, VMS platforms, storage, and networking.\n\nWork with R&D and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.\n\nDocument support cases, resolutions, and best practices in the internal knowledge base.\n\nOffer technical training and onboarding support to customers and partners post-sale.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related technical field.\n\n3+ years of experience in a similar pre-sales engineering and/or technical support role in the CCTV/security industry.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of IP-based surveillance systems, VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec, proprietary systems), and camera technology.\n\nStrong understanding of IT networking (IP, PoE, switching, VLANs), Windows Server environments, and video storage solutions (RAID, NAS, SAN).\n\nHands-on experience with troubleshooting surveillance systems in field or remote environments.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.\n\nProficiency in system design tools and documentation platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio, or CCTV-specific planning tools).\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nCertification in relevant VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec).\n\nFamiliarity with video analytics, AI-based surveillance features, or integration with access control.\n\nExperience with remote diagnostic tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).\n\nAbility to travel locally or internationally as required.\n\nWhy Join Us:\n\nWork with a growing, innovative manufacturer in the rapidly evolving video surveillance space.\n\nEngage in diverse responsibilities that span pre-sales engineering and post-sales technical support.\n\nCompetitive salary, training opportunities, and a collaborative team culture.\n\nSER-IN
