Salary: £38,000 to £43,000 per annum (based on experience)
Sleep-in Duty Payment: Additional £55 per sleep-in shift
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Residential Manager to join our team and support the Registered Manager in providing exceptional care for children and young people aged 8 to 18 who have faced traumatic experiences. You will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes emotional and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities:
As Deputy Residential Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring that the safety and well-being of the children are prioritised. This includes managing safeguarding concerns, contributing to risk assessments, and implementing therapeutic parenting approaches. You will lead a team in establishing healthy relationships with the children, advocating for their needs, and encouraging their participation in care planning. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager by managing the home in their absence.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess or be willing to achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or an equivalent qualification.
