Senior Water Hygiene Engineer We are thrilled to be representing an independent consultancy that provides Legionella and water quality management services, who are looking for an experienced Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team Benefits Company car provided Company Van, Phone, Tools & fuel card provided Uniform provided Performance bonus Company pension Opportunity for GrowthRequirements: Full UK Driving License essential DBS Certificate (Enhanced) Legionella Control & Water Hygiene: minimum 3 years (required) Confined Space trained CSCS card desirable Happy to commute Duties and Responsibilities Flushing & descaling of outlets, temperature monitoring and routine monitoring tasks in line with ACOP L8/HSG 274 Control Regimes Sampling in line with BS7592: Sampling for Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems in multiple sector properties Shower cleans & disinfections TMV servicing, calibration & replacements and basic plumbing works where required CWST inspections & surveys, clean & disinfections Calorifier/Hot Water Cylinder Services, blow downs, cleaning and descaling Maintain our customer's water logbooks and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy. To communicate daily to the service department that all tasks are carried out efficiently. Ensure that any equipment for which you are responsible is kept clean and is properly maintained. All (digital) reporting completed on site. Ancillary duties POU water heaters service Pipe replacement and Installation Pipe Lagging Installation Booster Pump Sets and BMS associated works including motors Expansion Vessel Servicing (draining etc.)To succeed in this role, you will need: Good understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1,2,3 Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits A keenness to progress and take on additional training Excellent written and verbal communication skills with IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Good written English (Grade C/5 at GCSE) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively To deliver a very high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction Ability to work independently and use initiative. Under pressure and to deadlines Take a personal responsibility for your own health and safety and the safety of those around you. You will be required to follow safety procedures, wear all PPE correctly, as per company policy and any site-specific requirements.
