Brands & Agencies is an exciting new platform launched by Prolific North, the leading news publisher for the North's creative, marketing and tech sectors, in collaboration with Pixelbuilders, a Leeds-based digital agency.

Our platform offers you the chance to explore new agency partners, read case studies about successful projects and get inspired by our editorial content. For agencies, we offer the chance to showcase your results and the clients you work with and make connections with brands looking for your services.
The Role: Marketing Lead
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven marketing professional to play a key role in the launch and growth of Brands & Agencies. As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive traffic to the platform, increase brand awareness, and generate revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Content Creation: Produce engaging and informative content for the website, email campaigns, and social media channels. This includes articles, blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
* Social Media Management: Develop and implement a social media strategy to grow our online community and increase engagement across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
* Website Management: Oversee the Brands & Agencies website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimised for search engines. This includes managing platform admin and user experience.
* Email Marketing: Create and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote platform features, and drive user engagement.
* Reporting and Analytics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and provide regular reports on marketing performance.
* Traffic Generation: Implement strategies to drive traffic to the website and increase user acquisition, including SEO, content marketing, social media promotion, and potentially paid advertising campaigns.
* Revenue Generation: Contribute to the platform's revenue growth by supporting sales initiatives and identifying new opportunities.
Working Arrangements:
Part-time: 2-3 days per week (flexible schedule).
Work from home: with occasional in-person meetings in Manchester.
Salary: Up to £1800 per month.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within the creative, digital, or tech sectors.
* Excellent content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones of voice.
* Strong understanding of social media marketing and best practices.
* Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
* Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
* Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
* Familiarity with the Northern creative and digital landscape.
