This full-time post is available immediately until the 11 April 2025 to support the work of Dr Darren Moore and Dr George Koutsouris.
You will undertake fieldwork, review literature and analyse data within a study to understand the development of inclusive education in the United Arab Emirates.
About you
You will:
* Possess a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.
* Have experience of researching in different national contexts and have a good understanding of varying education systems, especially within the Middle East region.
* Have experience of leading interviews and/or focus groups for the purposes of collecting qualitative data.
* Be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically, and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
* Fluency in both English and Arabic would be an advantage.
