HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a meticulous and organised Legal Assistant to join our Post Completions team. This role is ideal for someone interested in the final stages of property transactions and ensuring all legal documentation is properly executed and filed. Your main responsibilities will include: Managing the post-completion process for residential and commercial property transactions, ensuring all documents are processed accurately and promptly. Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax returns. Handling client communications regarding post-completion matters and providing updates on the status of their transactions. Dealing with any requisitions or queries received from the Land Registry and responding accordingly. Maintaining accurate records within our case management system. Assisting with the preparation of completion statements and final billing. Performing general administrative tasks as needed, including filing and archiving documents. Occasional reception cover as required. Requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in post-completion or property law is an advantage but not essential.
