You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to support them only. This rewarding vacancy is for: Post 1) 36 hours per week on an 8-week rota, working in the Moreton, Wirral area. Cover is required 24/7 and day shift times are either 8am 8pm, or 8am 10pm. You will work 3 days on, then 5 days off and you will be required to do 5 sleep-ins over the 8 week period. Post 2) 24 hours a week which is 2 x 12 hour night shifts Pay-rates are broken down as follows: Weekday Days: £13.00 per hour Weekday Nights: £13.50 per hour Weekend Days: £13.50 per hour Weekend Nights: £14.00 per hour Sleep-in Shifts: £11.50 per hour About the Client and Duties Join our dedicated care team to support a gentleman in his 30s who lives in his own home with 24hour assistance. Our client, who has learning disabilities and autism, thrives on stability, routine and inclusion. As part of the team, youll play a key role in supporting his daily living needs while ensuring his safety and well-being. He enjoys being active in the community, taking walks along the river and going on holidays. Sensory activities are a source of comfort for him and he likes to spend some time in a local sensory room. To safely support our client, you should be calm, patient, alert and vigilant, with a good level of fitness to help ensure his safety. While it is ideal if you are a driver and able to operate our client's minibus for outings, this is not essential.
