Description
Summary
The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Regis College is seeking an Adjunct Professor for the Fall 2025 semester who specializes in computer science/computer programming. CS105, Fundamentals in Programming II, is the continuation of CS 104. This course introduces design and implementation of classes, recursion, sorting and searching algorithms, dynamic data types, and advanced data structures such as linked lists. This is a foundational course for (primarily) undergraduate students with majors in Cybersecurity. Classes begin September 2, 2025; this course section is taught as an asynchronous online course with an online lab component. The person hired is expected to teach both the lecture and the lab.
Essential Functions
* Teach CS105 as an asynchronous online course and engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section: grading, office hours, student engagement, and academic assessment.

Requirements
* Minimum requirement: An earned MS in Computer Science, Programming, or a similar field. PhDs welcome.
* Demonstrated evidence of at least three years prior teaching experience (lectures and labs) at the undergraduate level; experience with online/hybrid teaching a plus.

* Demonstrated familiarity with academic assessment.
* Familiarity with the learning management system Moodle is preferred, but not required.
