Imex Ceramics UK Ltd are a progressive, rapidly expanding bathrooms manufacturer.
Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are searching for the right person to continue delivering the best possible service to our customers. We are looking for an experienced and professional individual to continue providing the high level of service we provide.
Reporting to the business head of operations or other designated business leads, the Warehouse Manager will be working alongside and heading up the warehouse team and its operations. Proactively managing the day-to-day activities of the operation by allocating resources, monitoring performance, and taking a hands-on approach to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Conducting one to ones and performance reviews, along with absence management, holiday requests and other admin-based duties for your team. Effective management and motivation of the warehouse team to ensure that the service the company is providing meets the high level of performance required by our customers. You must be fit and healthy due to the nature of the daily tasks, as they are physically and manually demanding.
Health & Safety qualifications is a must as you will be required to carry out and update risk assessments including method statements to include the management of COSHH regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Organising the efficient and safe storage and dispatch of warehoused products.
* Using real-time data collection to increase accuracy.
* Maintaining computerised administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems.
* Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods received and shipped out.
* Enforcing health standards, safety and security procedures.
* Enforcing company rules and regulations.
* Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance.
* Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers and customers.
* Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations.
* Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity.
* Responsibility for organising the maintenance and repairs of our 3.5 tonne fleet vehicles and ensuring that drivers are adhering to domestic driving rules.
You should have good communication skills and possess a ‘can do’ attitude. You must be reliable, enthusiastic and be able to deliver when the pressure is on. A Valid FLT license with relevant experience (pivot steer preferable) is favourable. Managerial/ Supervisory experience of 3 years+ and working within a warehouse environment is required.
The expected start date of 02/12/2024 is negotiable for the the right candidate.
